Bio

Kailey Ikkusek-Rogers (she/her) is an emerging painter, textile artist and writer currently located in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Kailey uses mixed media, textiles and paint to explore the in-between, the alien yet familiar, and the resilient yet delicate. Deeply inspired by her queerness, and her mixed Inuk and Settler background, Kailey is interested in creating work that honors her relationship to whimsy, grief, and the kaleidoscopic Newfoundland landscape.

Currently, Kailey is completing the Art & Design Essentials program at the College of the North Atlantic and has been accepted into the Visual Arts BFA program at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
